Ucalsa has become a reference among companies specialized in key facilities for large collectives, whether these be for private jobs or non-operational military forces.

In both areas, Ucalsa has experience in the construction of buildings and installations designed and built to meet the needs and functions of our clients.

As an example of construction in the private sector, Ucalsa has built storage facilities, dining halls, supermarkets, recreation halls, kitchens, washrooms, etc. at Europa Point, Equatorial Guinea for an international oil company. A group of 450 people carry out many of their daily activities in these installations.

In the Defense sector, a more significant example is Herat Camp in Afghanistan that Ucalsa built for the Spanish Army stationed there.

This job required the design, acquisition, shipping, building, operation and maintenance of all the camp facilities for 650 people.

The job also included the construction of supply networks for water and electricity, the sewage system, environmental control, kitchens, ablutions, washing facilities and waste removal.

Furthermore, Ucalsa also took charge of the catering services and provision of supplies for this camp.
